About us

Duralite is an Australian owned horticultural and hydroponic supply wholesaler operating since 1980. In recent years Duralite has expanded its’ business from specialising in commercial hydroponics and horticulture to include the growing industries of Plant Nurseries and Broad-acre Vegetable Farms.

The Company is run by Managing Director David Francis. David has over 32 years experience in the horticultural industry, and with a Degree in Horticulture is able to assist growers with technical advice. He is also a past President of the Hydroponic Society of Victoria and a past Committee Member of the Hydroponic Farmers Federation.

Our office and warehouse is located in Heatherton in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We currently provide products and advice to commercial growers and companies throughout Victoria and increasingly throughout Australia. Duralite regularly services intensive growing areas including the Dandenongs, Geelong, Outer Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland.
