IBDU

IBDU is a condensation product of urea and isobutyraldehyde. The nitrogen in IBDU is released by a chemical hydrolysis reaction, and in contrast to UF nitrogen, the microbial degradation is minimal. Particle size, hardness, and the amount of water passing through the media have the biggest effect on the fertilizer release. Low pH increases hydrolysis, but temperature is not a critical factor. Commercial IBDU fertilizers contain multiple particle sizes to achieve an even release rate. The maximum duration of release for IBDU particles is about 5-6 months.

UREAFORM

Ureaform is a slow release nitrogen fertilizer which will meet the nitrogen needs of most turf and horticultural situations. The product is based on a ureaformaldehyde/methylene urea nitrogen source. The release process for Ureaform is via microbiological degradation. Subsequently the product is influenced by the amount of organic matter in the soil and the soil temperature. Ureaform is almost totally unaffected by soil pH and only slightly affected by soil moisture content.

UREA 1.5%

Australian made urea fertilizer mainly used for pre-plant application in grain crops, and for side or top-dressing pasture and forage crops, grain cotton, vegetables and sugarcane.
Urea is also used in tree and vine crops. Best results are achieved when surface broadcast without incorporation, if applied before rain or irrigating. Urea can also be applied in irrigation water, and as a foliar spray. This fertilizer is not recommended for repeated foliar application on annual or perennial horticultural crops.

AGRODEX K FILL

K Fill is a 35% liquid clear potassium in an organic form, free of nitrate and chlorides. Being clear, K Fill will not produce the fruit stain associated with similar products. It contains organic acids and natural plant regulators, which are immediately assimilated and translocated through the plant where they are converted to carbohydrates to ripen and fill fruit and vegetables. K Fill will improve fruit yield, quality, colour & ripening uniformity. Using the AMCA System K Fill has a range of organic acids, partially hydolyzed proteins and free amino acids, which give the element a low molecular weight chelation, ensuring the most effective penetration of the element to the functioning parts of the plant structure.

HIGH PK

AgroBest High PK is a liquid potassium/phosphorus formulation manufactured to extremely high standards, it produces fast and efficient uptake. Ideal for application at peak demand periods or to overcome stress from cold or water logging. AgroBest High PK is safe to use and can be used in conjunction with a wide range of agricultural chemicals.

AGRO N42

Agro N42 is a high analysis liquid nitrogen fertilizer (42% w/v) for the correction of nitrogen deficiencies and promotion of growth in all crops with high nitrogen demands. Agro N42 will stimulate fast and vigorous vegetative growth early and mid season. Agro N42 offers nitrogen in several forms for optimum plant uptake and utilisation. Agro Chelate has been added to assist in plant health, in particular translocation of trace elements, aiding photosynthesis and enhancing cell division and elongation.

AGRODEX K35

AgroDex K35 is 35% liquid potassium in an organic form, free of nitrate and chlorides. PLANT FOOD NPK

Plant Food is a highly available, rapidly absorbed clear solution of Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium formulated to meet requirements early in the season for sustainable rapid growth. Plant Food will kick start seedlings, promote growth during cold and stressful periods, and meet demands during flowering. 3-12-20 (N-P-K) is the premium fruit filling blend for larger, better quality fruit, improved flavour and colour, increased sugar levels and disease resistance. 13-7-11 (N-P-K) is a balanced NPK base used to promote early vigour of fruit trees and field crops and to increase growth and size, improving quality, and colour. 20-4-6 (N-P-K) actively promotes early growth and meets the demand later in the season of crops with high nitrogen requirements.

BEYOND FOLIAR NPK

Beyond Foliar is available in three NPK combinations which are complex blend of EDTA chelated micronutrients and cytokinin plant extract within a balanced, highly available, rapidly absorbed solution of Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium. The formulation of Beyond Foliar uses the highest purity and quality actives. The phosphate is manufactured from 100% orthophosphoric acid, a pure form of phosphate that is 98% available to the plant and the nitrogen is derived from a very low biuret source. Beyond Foliar has very fast absorption rate into the plant. Up to 80% being absorbed within 1 Hr of spraying under normal conditions. Beyond Foliar NPK and chelated micronutrients are rapidly absorbed into the plant and with the assistance of the plant extract, readily translocated throughout the plant to where it is most needed. 3-10-15 is the premium fruit filling blend for larger, better quality fruit, improved flavour and colour, increased sugar levels and disease resistance. 11-6-9 is balanced NPK base used to promote early vigor of fruit trees & field crops and to increase growth and size, improving quality, and color. 18-2-4 actively promotes early growth and meets the demand later in the season of crops with high nitrogen requirements.

AGRODEX P&K

AgroDex P & K is unique in its formulation, using the purest forms of Phosphorus and Potassium available, all attached to sugar molecules for immediate assimilation by the plant. AgroDex P & K will improve fruit yield, quality & colour uniformity and even with low rates will offer a lasting response. Ideal product for cotton at flowering and fruit set when P & K are at peak demand. CarboCal provides superior calcium sap levels for fruit quality and disease resistance and contains no Nitrogen or Chloride. DOSATRON INJECTORS

The DOSATRON water powered dosing pump is a simple and ingenious system that has demonstrated its worth for more than 30 years in about a hundred countries. Installed directly in the water supply line, the Dosatron operates without electricity ; it uses the flow of water as the power source. The water activates the Dosatron, which takes up the required percentage of concentrate and injects it into the water. Inside the Dosatron, the concentrate is mixed with the water, and the water pressure forces the solution downstream. Once adjusted, the dispenser requires no action or external control . The dose of concentrate will be directly proportional to the volume of water entering the Dosatron, regardless of variations in flow and pressure which may occur in the main line. OCP PROTECTOR

A fungistatic "soft soap" that suppresses Botrytis and Sour Rot in grape vines. OCP Protector was developed and researched by Hort Research in NZ. OCP Protector has no effect on wine Quality indicators; and when applied in conjunction with powdery and downy mildew sprays, it maximizes their effectiveness.

AZAMAX

(APVMA registration pending) A natural insecticide produced from the patented process of extracting Azadiractin (one of the most potent natural insecticides known to man) from neem seed kernels. Azamax has several mods of action but is essentially an Insect Growth Regulator - preventing the normal growth and development of insect once digested.

NATURALURE™

Fruit fly bait concentrate. For the control of Fruit flies, including Queensland Fruit fly and Medfly, infesting various tree, fruit, nut, vine and vegetable crops and ornamentals and on fly resting sites, including non-crop vegetation.

ECO CARB

Eco Carb is a plant bio-stimulant containing 856g/kg Activated Potassium Bicarbonate. When used on a regular basis Eco Carb has demonstrated effect of a variety of diseases in agricultural and floricultural crops. Eco Carb changes the pH on the leaf surface making it more alkaline. This produces an unfavourable environment for the germination of fungal spores, and damages the cell walls of fungal "structures".

AGRO HUMATE

Agro Humate is a refined blend of organic fractions derived from lignins, tannins and carbonaceous material. It will aid and assist in the increase of plant useful organic carbon in the root zone. Agro Humate is a powerful agent in stress reduction, particularly in soil with high levels of salt and light country where water retention is an issue. Agro Humate assists in the retention of both water and mineral nutrient in the root zone, as well as having powerful growth factors, which assist plants in growing out of damage caused by spray burn, herbicide burn, water stress and poor soil aeration.

CALMATE

Calmate is a high purity humic acid solution extracted from leonardite and fermented with sugars. This process is designed to produce a balance of high and low molecular weight humic acids, which can result in vastly increased uptake rates of most minerals, particularly with calcium and potassium.

EXTRA CAL

Extra Cal is a foliar applied, bio-available organic calcium (6%) combined with a cytokinin carrier. Extra Cal has proven ability to translocate calcium efficiently through the plant and into the fruit, which results in stronger and healthier plant growth, larger and more disease resistant fruit. Extra Cal mobilises calcium through the plant directly into the fruit. Extra Cal alone at higher rates will provide additional systemic resistance to pest attack and when used in conjunction with fungicides, can enhance the performance of pest management chemicals.

ENVY

Envy is a frost protectorent and anti transpirant, which can substantially reduce moisture losses by up to 50%, eliminate sun & windburn damage as well as increase frost tolerance by an additional 4 Degrees. Envy will not impede plant growth or photosynthesis, is non-toxic, pH neutral and will biodegrade in sunlight.

NATRASOAP

Natrasoap is a new generation broad-spectrum insecticide formulated using potassium salts combined with fatty acids in a vegetable oil base. Natrasoap's mode of action is effective against a wide range of insect pests including aphids, mites, Leafhopper, thrips, whitefly. Natrasoap is a contact pesticide spray and best suited for early season application. Natrasoap used in an I.P.M. program has demonstrated an ideal fit as it has a different mode of action and is softer on predators than most currently used pesticides. It is cost effective and has nil residual, making it environmentally safe.

SEAFIL

Seafil is an essential biostimulant derived from concentrated seaweed extract, specifically fermented to enhance the utilisation of more than eighty naturally occurring minerals, amino acids and growth hormones. The unique AgroBest fermentation utilises specific microorganisms to reduce molecular size as well as producing natural chelating acids. This process enhances assimilation and mobilisation throughout the plant tissues. AgroBest’s unique fermentation process increases the activity of the natural plant growth promotants as well as improving physical compatabilities.

SPRAYTECH OIL

Spraytech Oil is a superior vegetable oil base adjuvant with a unique blend of emulsifiers that have the ability to encapsulate if required. Combining the benefits of emulsifiable vegetable oil and non-ionic surfactants, Spraytech Oil significantly improves the performance of most pesticides. Spraytech Oil is an organic product and far less phytotoxic than mineral oil based products. When premixed with herbicides, insecticides or fungicides, Spraytech Oil envelops each chemical molecule, protecting it from breakdown in the spray vat and out in the field after application. This encapsulation will increase spray efficacy whilst reducing loss and odour. Other benefits include buffering the effect of poor quality water, facilitating tank mixing of incompatible products and a marked improvement in rainfastness. By delivering a more uniform spray pattern, with fine droplets kept to a minimum and deposition onto the target increased, results have shown a marked reduction in both drift and off target damage. Increasing spraying efficacy will reduce off target spray pollution in the environment.

REVITALIZE

Revitalize is a microbial soil activator of enzymes and bacteria which feed natural soil bio-flora. Chemicals should not be used on a 'calendar' basis but strictly when needed as defined by systematic pest monitoring. Selective rather than broad-spectrum chemicals should take preference. The aim is to produce high-quality marketable produce at minimal cost by intelligently using the various control options to manage pests.

ENCARSIA FORMOSA (WHITEFLY CONTROL)

Encarsia formosa is a wasp parasite used to control greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum) and Poinsettia whitefly (Bemisia tabaci).

An average daily temperature of 23°C is required for good control of whitefly by Encarsia. At lower temperatures (<20°C) much higher release rates are required. Encarsia also performs best when there are more than 10 hours of daylight. To increase performance in winter months heating and artificial lighting are beneficial.

Tips on releasing:

Do not use residual pesticides for 4 weeks prior to release. Some pesticides remain toxic on plants for several months.

Introduce Encarsia at the very first sign of whitefly. Alternatively start releases when planting out at inoculative rates on a weekly basis.

Introduce parasites weekly for at least 8 weeks or until 80% parasitism is noted.

If necessary adjust lighting and temperature to favour Encarsia development

HYPOASPIS (FUNGUS GNAT CONTROL)

Hypoaspis is a predatory mite that lives near the soil surface and feeds on fungus gnat larvae and thrips pupae.

Hypoaspis are dispatched in an organic mixture that should be evenly scattered over the treatment area or spooned into the base of pots. The mites then migrate into the potting media and feed on soft bodied pests in the root zone.

Tips on releasing:

Release when pests are at a low level

Soil temperatures should be between 20°C and 30°C

Ensure growing media is well-drained, has good porosity and contains some organic matter

Two releases 2-3 weeks apart are recommended

Hypoaspis is compatible with the predatory nematode Steinernema feltiae.
